Chronicles of me and mine

The Adventure of Andy and Aleta

The adventure of Andy and Aleta began sometime after midnight on January 8, 2002 at what was then The Point (now known as The Devil’s Point). Aleta arrived at the deserted establishment and quickly noticed the moody guy sitting on the other side of the bar in his leather jacket. She asked Jill, the bartender, to let this guy know that she would buy him a beer if he came and sat next to her.

To her utter surprise, the guy didn’t jump at the chance. In fact, he merely looked over at her and continued to warm his own bar stool. Never one to give up, Aleta continued to flash him her legendary smile. Finally he came over and informed her that he would sit next to her but he would purchase his own beverages. And from that moment on, Aleta was smitten with Andy.

Andy and Aleta continue to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  They have three cats who depending on the day or time are: 1)wonderful or 2) monsters.  During their spare time, they enjoy trying new beers, watching movies, playing with their cats, and enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Good job, Kids! Love the blog and loved even more seeing and reading about your trips. You both look great and as if you had a good time. Aleta, swimming in the ocean is one of my favorite things. It’s hard to sink in salt water and if it’s warm enough, you can stay in all day. I’m trying to get up my nerve to swim at Hyde Street Beach in the Bay, but the water temperature is in the 50s.

I hope you keep up the blog because I love seeing you! I’m so sorry I won’t be seeing you Saturday as our plans changed seriously and I’m flying to Seattle instead of driving with Maggie. But still need to know from the IT Manager whether you want the color laser printer.
